Hebrews For Today
An Instruction Manual for the Last Days
Hebrews For Today is the result of more than ten years of study, comparison of scripture with scripture, and careful examination of the purpose of the New Covenant and the end time work described throughout the Bible. The conclusion reached during that time is simple but profound: the Book of Hebrews is not primarily a historical letter, nor merely a theological explanation of Christ’s priesthood. It is an instruction manual written for a specific group of people who would live near the end of this age and would be responsible for completing the work God intends before the return of Christ.
The Most Current Book in the Bible
At first glance, Hebrews appears to be an ancient theological text, yet its opening chapter immediately establishes its relevance to the modern world. Hebrews chapter 1 addresses the nature of the universe, the relationship between the visible and invisible worlds, and the authority by which all things are sustained. In doing so, it directly confronts one of the great modern questions: Has science replaced God? The chapter demonstrates that scientific discovery does not remove God from creation, but instead describes the mechanisms through which His creation operates.
The book also addresses another fundamental question that has caused doubt for many people: If there is a loving God, why is there so much evil and suffering in the world? Hebrews explains that the present age is not the final state of creation, but a period of preparation, testing, and training for a future world that will be placed under different administration.
A Series for Our Time
Hebrews For Today is the first of three books in the For Today series.
It will be followed by New Covenant For Today, which explains in detail the message the servants of God are required to carry, the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and what the New Covenant actually means in practical, functional terms.
The third book, Revelation For Today, will outline the sequence of events that bring this age to its conclusion.
Together, these three books form a single framework:
Hebrews describes the people, New Covenant clarifies the message, and Revelation outlines the timeline.
The Purpose of This Book
The purpose of Hebrews For Today is to explain what is required of those who are described in Hebrews as “those who serve the living God.” In particular, it focuses on the final period of this age and the work that must be completed before the Kingdom of God is established.
The book argues that the message of Hebrews ultimately prepares the way for the formation of what Revelation describes as the Philadelphia era—a group given an undeniable “open door” to carry out their work. Hebrews explains the responsibilities, the standard required, the nature of faith and obedience, and the role of those who will complete the work God began through Christ.
In short, Hebrews For Today is not merely a commentary on a biblical book.
It is a guide explaining what Hebrews means, why it was written, who it was written for, and what must be done now.

It exists simply to make the material of Hebrews For Today available for reading and study.
The book is presented online so that it can be read in order, like a book, from beginning to end.
